Urubamba Peru

Urubamba eller Urupampa er en lille by i Peru, beliggende nær Urubamba-floden under det sneklædte bjerg Ch'iqun. Beliggende en time fra Cusco, er Urubamba den største by i Den Hellige Dal af Inkaerne. Den er også beliggende nær en række betydningsfulde ruiner fra Inkariget, herunder Machu Picchu. Samfundet Chichubamba tilbyder et unikt indblik i de traditionelle andinske livsformer, som har været videreført siden før Inkariget.
