Arequipa Peru

Arequipa er en by i den sydlige kystregion af Peru. Beliggende i en dal ved siden af floden Chili og omgivet af snedækkede tinder som Misti-vulkanen og Chachani- og Pichu Pichu-bjergene, er det Perus næststørste by. Kaldet "den hvide by" på grund af overfloden af bygninger lavet af en lysfarvet vulkansk sten kaldet sillar, skinner Arequipa ikke kun i sit solrige, tørre klima, men ligger også majestætisk blandt de spektakulære vulkaner, der fungerer som dens baggrund.
